Norton Confirms Global Relaunch and Plans to Enter Indian Market by 2026

Norton Motorcycles is taking a decisive step to restore the British brand. The company has confirmed a new global strategy under its owner, India’s TVS Motor Company.

The plan has two key parts: the launch of four new models and Norton’s first official entry into the Indian market, scheduled for April 2026.

This marks a true reset for the iconic brand. Norton is moving beyond its 127-year legacy with a completely new lineup. The new bikes include a V4 superbike and a middleweight adventure model, which will be revealed at the 2025 EICMA show. Production will take place at Norton’s upgraded factory in Solihull, UK.

TVS is backing this strategy with a major investment of around Rs 1,000 crore in Norton’s development. A key part of the plan is to establish a separate premium dealer network in India, designed to give customers a refined and curated ownership experience.
